I finally did it! After a year of people telling me I needed to try adding honey to my coffee, I did it! I was skeptical. I normally drink it black, but sometimes it’s fun to have a “dessert” coffee with sugar and flavoring. But adding honey to it? Well, I love it in tea, but eww.

If you love sugary coffee drinks, try this out! Save yourself 500 calories or so with this recipe! Coffee is about 2 calories, a teaspoon of honey is 21, and 1/4 cup of milk is somewhere between 20 and 40 depending on what kind you use. Some recipes call for 4 times more milk than coffee, but that’s not what I’m here for. I want coffee.

Have you seen those PSL recipes that involve cans of pumpkin, spices, sugar, pots and stoves and whisks? Honestly, I just want my coffee NOW. My husband makes it before I wake up. Now I can stumble out to the kitchen, pour coffee, stir in a teaspoon of Punkin Pie Honey, top off with milk, and enjoy! I do admit, a dollop of whipped cream on top would probably be worth the hassle and calories! Maybe with that extra decorative sprinkle of spice on top! And those delicate swirls of caramel on top of that! Maybe I can teach my hubby…

I’m not an experienced fancy coffee drink maker, so let me know what your favorite proportions are! It might be good to add more Punkin Pie Honey and milk, and serve it on ice.
